![]() If you want the clip accessory, it’s another $5 for one clip. You could still be a backer to get 6 clips for $99. Get special early-bird prices and perks Many campaigns on Indiegogo launch with special perks and heavily discounted prices for the very first backers. This is your chance to be the earliest of the early adopters. The project has raised 5x more than its goal. Indiegogo is where entrepreneurs debut new and exciting hardware products, often long before they hit mainstream availability. To me, the price tag is a little bit high for this but it might be worth it. But hey, if you wanna get it, go get it! As long as you’re happy. If not, then maybe you will just stick to the usual way of using your phone. If you would like to have a bigger control over your phone or the devices around you, Flic comes in handy for you so you don’t have to keep opening up apps after apps. It will capture the attentions from people around you when you bring it around and use it. In my opinion, it’s really a sleek and cool button. It’s just a matter of time that if the development is continued, there is a whole bunch of things you can do with Flic. Or use it in your car for music control and navigation. The company's founders are Joacim Westlund and Amir Sharifat and the team is lead by Daniel Abdiu, the CEO. Shortcut Labs AB was established in 2013 and is a privately held company with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. You could stick it or clip it to your clothes or bag and carry it around, use it as a #selfie button. Flic is run by Shortcut Labs AB and is the company's only operation. The design of Flic is so small that it is portable with you. It is the start of many more creativity in using wireless technology though, so now you could access your music player with speaker or lights in your home, etc. But with NFC, you have to get your phone and turn on NFC, if it’s off, and tap it. It reminds me of the NFC tags that I’ve used before from Samsung. With the re-usable double sided adhesive, it is very handy to stick in any surface you want. For example, the drawer beside your bed, your dashboard, door, tables, glass, or even clothes. With Flic, you can stick it around on whatever surface that could stick. ![]() The idea is simple: using a wireless button to do action(s) that you have setup through your phone. ![]() So I came across this project called Flic in indiegogo.
